Neyers Ranch Conn Valley 2006 Merlot
An approachable, forward-tasting red wine that has the aroma and complex flavors of French Bordeaux. The small yields in 2006 - less than half of the crop size from the 2006 vintage - and the late ripening growing season have enabled production of a wine that serves as a benchmark for Merlot produced in California. The blend is 80% Merlot, with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.

Dark black in color, the nose gives aromas of red cherry and blackberries with sweet vanilla, nutmeg, and cigar box notes. There is a hint of crushed flower petals and notes of pencil lead and peppercorn in the background. The palate has a big, round silky arc with smooth tannins and impeccable balance. Flavors of blackberry and spice blend into a smoky finish.

Slingshot 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2010 Slingshot Cabernet has a bright and vibrant ruby red hue. The aroma opens with hints of violets, raspberry and vanilla blossoming into scents of cassis and plumb. The palate fills with flavors of dark fruit and clove with a mouth-feel of well rounded tannins leaving the impression of dark tobacco leaf and the subtle hint of French oak.
