Archery Summit 2007 Premier Cuvée Pinot Noir

This wine opens with perfumed aromas of black cherry and raspberry, spicy plum and violets. On the palate, blueberry, plum, cassis and earthy notes converge around a fresh core of bright acidity and plush tannin lending this wine structure, vitality and grace. There is precision in the expression of fruit and an elegant yet ample succulent structure that progresses to a finish that is long and lasting with hints of blueberries, spiced cherries, exotic incense and fresh rose petals. This lovely wine is drinking well now but may also be enjoyed over the next five to eight years with proper cellaring. 

Bouchaine 2007 Chardonnay

The Bouchaine Estate is tangy, with vibrant acidity keeping the beam of citrus, green apple and subtle bubble gum flavors dancing. Full-bodied, clean and refreshing, with a touch of toasty oak. 

Dugat 2006 Gevrey-Chambertin

Claude Dugat’s 2006 Gevrey Chambertin is one of the best from the village. It has a bright, deep red with sexy aromas of cherry, raspberry, smoke and game. Juicy, spicy and aromatic. Light gamey nuance that really defines the terroir of the appellation without being over powering and has a slightly dry finish. Game birds with braised vegetables would be a perfect match. 

Fisher Coach Insignia 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

The Fisher 2005 Coach Insignia Cabernet Sauvignon comes from hillside vineyards just east of St. Helena and is farmed organically. The wine is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. Rich and bold, with lush flavors of chocolate and cherries, with round supple fruit make this an irresistible offering from one of California’s finest producers. 

Jacob's Creek 2004 Centenary Hill Shiraz

The Jacob's Creek 2004 Centenary Hill Shiraz is a fine example of a full bodied Barossa Valley Shiraz. Concentrated aromas of blackberries are layered over subtle notes of dried herbs and black pepper. The palate offers flavors of brooding berries and dried fruit with well integrated and balanced tannins. Ready to drink now and with careful cellaring will offer great rewards. 

La Gravette Certan 2006 Pomerol

La Gravette de Certan is the second wine of the famous Pomerol property, Vieux Château Certan. The 2006 is one of the best examples of this wine ever produced. Blended with equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the wine was aged in one year old oak barrels. The wine is wonderfully rich, with lush velvety textures of spicy black fruit flavors, excellent balance and hints of toasty oak in the finish. This wine will cellar well for 5 to 10 years. 

Luigi Bosca 2007 Malbec

The Luigi Bosca 2007 Malbec D.O.C. shows an intense violet color and displays ripe cherry and plum aromas. Spiced, with hints of mocha and blackberries, this is a delicately perfumed wine with elegant sweetness. 

Mas de Guiot 2007 Grenache-Syrah

Mas de Guiot is owned and operated by the Cornut family. They are true believers in sustainable agriculture, using no synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers on any of their vineyards or crops. The blend for this bottling is 40% Grenache and 60% Syrah, both grown at very low yields and hand-harvested. A great Southern Rhône red revealing pepper-infused blackberry fruit. The round finish is laced with a hint of lavender. Superb with an herb encrusted rack of lamb. 

Murphy-Goode 2007 Alexander Cabernet Sauvignon

The Murphy-Goode Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a very deep color. Rich, intensely concentrated aromas of black cherries with a yeasty, toasty quality. Some subtle chocolate overtones add to the complexity. This wine is at the point where it should be at its perfect drinking potential. Serve it with some highly seasoned Fajitas. 

Perrier Jouet 2000 Fleur de Champagne Gift Set

The Perrier Jouet 2000 Brut Fleur de Champagne comes in a fabulous gift box that includes the beautifully painted bottle and two matching glasses. This vintage Champagne is a mid-weight offering redolent of flowers, jasmine, honey and apricots. The wine shows pretty inner perfume in an accessible, easygoing style. 

Querciabella 2007 Chianti Classico

From an estate in Greve in Chianti, the 2007 Querciabella is predominantly sangiovese (95 percent) with a small portion of cabernet sauvignon. The cabernet adds a touch of bold extraction to the refinement of the sangiovese, the combination giving a supple, lithe impression in the finish. There’s no extraneous tannin to get in the way of the rose scents, the strawberry and musky cherry flavors--just a fine structure and clean, fragrant length of flavor. 

Silverado 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark red color. Various aromas radiant from the glass—ripe black cherry, plum, dried herbs, white pepper, roasted coffee and earth. On first taste, juicy, well integrated flavors of oak and fruit. Cocoa powder notes highlight this wine, which is seamless in its structure from entry to finish. 

Watkins 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon

The Watkins Family Barn Block vineyard is located at 1400 feet on the southwest side of Mt. Veeder. The red volcanic rock slopes rise up in the bright sunlight above the fog filled valley. The stress of mountain farming produces grapes with amazing concentration and color. The resulting wine is richly layered with black currant, dark chocolate and lingering notes of roasted coffee. Only 240 cases were produced.
