Richard’s Liquors & Fine Wines was founded in 1950 by Richard Trabulsi, Sr. The original store, at 2124 South Shepherd in Houston’s River Oaks and Montrose neighborhoods, is still in operation. Richard’s has grown over the years to six stores serving Houston’s western neighborhoods.
Richard’s is still owned by the founding family, making it one of Houston’s oldest retail establishments. We are a nationally recognized and awarded wine merchant.
We pride ourselves on providing our customers friendly, knowledgeable, honest and efficient service. We can help you plan a party by advising you on the quantities of beverages needed and recommending just the right merchandise to fit your budget and suit the occasion. It is possible, in the world of wines especially, to pay a small price for a good product or to pay a lot for a poor product. That’s why there is an important role for honest and knowledgeable wine merchants. We have been the wine and spirit merchant to thousands of Houstonians for a half-century because we have earned their trust and respect.
We deliver in our trade areas, with delivery charges varying by distance and time considerations.
